Auckland affectionately known as the "City of Sails" is located on a unique narrow strip of land rich in Natural, Maori and European history.
Flanked by both the west and eastern coastal shorelines with only 800 meters between them at the narrowest point. Highlights include 360 degree views from Mount Eden (one of 49 volcanic cones in the area), a visit to the Auckland War Memorial Museum** and a coach tour with commentary that includes central business district, university, urban beaches, the Harbour Bridge and popular dining and shopping villages.
After a brief stop to purchase some lunch, you will head over to Waiheke Island (35 minutes by ferry) for a wine tour.
On arrival at the Waiheke Ferry Terminal, you will be met by your knowledgeable tour driver and then taken on your wine tasting experience at 3 world class vineyards - Mudbrick, Ridgeview Estate and Te Whau. At the completion of the tour, you can explore Waiheke Island using the scheduled bus service at your leisure, as the ferries run until 12.30am (local bus fare and return ferry included in the tour price).

Your ferry ride back to Auckland City is open-ended as you may wish to stay on the island and enjoy dinner at one of the many world-class restaurants or back at one of the vineyards visited today.
**The last ferry departs the island at 12.30am (10.15pm on Sundays and Public Holidays).
